Biography
At present, Ivan advises major Russian companies on sanctions regulation, including the termination of depositary receipt programs, delisting, primary listing in Russia, transfer of shares for trading in Russia, and redomiciliation of Russian companies; he develops mechanisms for receiving payments under Eurobonds and depositary receipts, and participates in the development of pre-IPO financing.

In a number of projects, it was under his leadership that innovative legal structures were implemented, enabling the effective linking of Russian and international infrastructure, including the use of complex cross-border instruments.
Ivan has established relationships with the Bank of Russia, the Ministry of Finance, the National Settlement Depository, and other relevant institutions on financial market regulation matters, including sanctions compliance, work with foreign financial infrastructure, and counter-sanctions legislation.

Among the projects he has worked on are advising international banking groups (ING, UniCredit), as well as major international financial organizations (EBRD, IFC), on the placement and support of debt and equity instruments.
