On February 14, Ivan Makhalin, Partner at law firm LECAP, held a masterclass for MGIMO students in a discussion format covering some of the most pressing issues in capital market regulation—from market self-regulation to disclosure requirements for issuers.
The masterclass examined critical aspects of IPO transactions, analyzed the roles of different IPO participants, assessed their importance for successful deal execution, and explored the procedures for transitioning to public status and implementing corporate governance in public companies.
