NSD (National Settlement Depository, part of the Moscow Exchange Group) introduced an updated E-voting service that allows bondholders to participate in voting remotely.
The service was implemented in the shortest possible time and made it possible to significantly simplify and reduce the cost of the procedure: whereas previously private investors had to fill out paper ballots or submit instructions through brokers, now E-voting provides a simple, free and secure tool for electronic voting.
The first online voting has already taken place - a record number of investors and more than 7,000 bondholders expressed their will via E-voting at the general meeting of FPC Garant-Invest bondholders.
